Schweppes Australia launched it fabled new product ‘Elixir – The Dark Mixer’ in Sydney and Melbourne in 2011, with Behind Bars managing all theming, creative, logistics, staffing and drinks.
The Behind Bars team transformed two iconic locations into a 19th Century apothecary, where guests were literally transformed into Edwardian socialites and treated to live chocolate production (and sampling), aromatic liquid nitrogen fogs, and of course Schweppes cocktails.

Over a two-day period, Behind Bars managed four different bars and event experiences including a Bundaberg Rum night, a Smirnoff immersion event, as well as a luxury drinks experience led by Ketel One vodka and Johnnie Walker Blue Label.
